The City Hall offers beautiful wedding and photography opportunities year-round. I have photographed at the City Hall for a long time and know all the hidden gems, ensuring that you as a couple get pictures that will last a lifetime. There are many people around, so it helps to know where to go to capture images just of the two of you or with your family.
My packages range from 30 minutes up to two hours, depending on your preferences. For the larger packages (approximately 90-120 minutes), we have enough time for the ceremony, portraits, group photos, and possibly some mingling. Most couples book this package.
If you only wish for portraits but not ceremony photos, you can book me for a 30-minute photo session.
The delivery time is up to 6 weeks during peak season. However, it usually goes faster. All materials are delivered digitally.
Although my work is adaptable, most weddings at the City Hall follow a pattern:
General information for photography at the City Hall
-
You must register 15 minutes before your ceremony, and it’s only then that we can take pictures indoors. Outdoor photos can therefore be taken either before or after the ceremony, depending on the package.
-
A ceremony at the City Hall is very quick, about 5 minutes – then you’re married!
-
There are toilets available both outside and on the way to the ceremony room.
-
There are elevators, but you need to book them in advance.
-
Confetti, rice throwing, and rose petals are not allowed.
-
Bubbles and sparklers can be used as they do not leave litter behind.
-
Civil weddings take place on Saturdays and some weekdays. The ceremony is held on Saturdays in the Oval Room and on weekdays in a smaller conference room.
Light and weather
-
During the darker time of the year, around November to April, it’s best to photograph when we have natural light, preferably before 2:00-3:00 PM (you can check the sunset time for your specific day).
-
For the rest of the year, we can gradually take photos later in the day.
-
Bring good outerwear as it can get windy and cold.
"Your wedding images & film will last you a lifetime, and will later pass on to your children. The same cannot be said about the wedding cake or what plates you use. Choose your wedding photographer with great care."
